About 99 Ranch Market
Asian supermarket chain carrying imported specialty foods plus meat, seafood, produce & baked goods.
Located at 1360 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024, 99 Ranch Market operates as an asian grocery store serving Los Angeles in California. Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Los Angeles peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Westwood finally got its own 99 Ranch. An actual Chinese market within reach--with its own parking lot. In Westwood. That alone deserves five stars. The store itself? Solid. Dumplings, sauces, snacks, produce--basically the essentials for anyone who needs soy sauce in quantities larger than a shot glass. The crowd though... it's hilarious. It's like every shopper is 18-25. UCLA students in pajama pants grabbing hot pot broth like it's finals week fuel. Honestly, I felt like I was intruding on a dorm kitchen run. And the kicker? This shiny Chinese market is plopped right in the middle of Persian Square. Only in LA do you get saffron ice cream, kabobs, and a 99 Ranch as neighbors. It's like a UN meeting but for food cravings. Westwood, you did good.

I would say this asian store is really clean and a lot of variety of food that you can pick from fresh produce, meat, snacks, condiments and spices. Definitely one of the stops that i can rely for asian stuffs. Free parking also is a nice thing for a shopper. We ate lunch on 2nd flr which serves combo meals for like $10-12.

Had a great experience at 99 Ranch Market! This place is my go-to for fresh and authentic Asian groceries. The produce section is always well-stocked, and I love the variety of seafood and specialty items you canβt easily find elsewhere. The store is clean, organized, and surprisingly easy to navigate despite how much they offer. The hot food and bakery section are also a big highlightβperfect if you want something quick and delicious. Staff are helpful and checkout is usually pretty smooth. Overall, a reliable spot for quality ingredients and a great shopping experience. Highly recommend!

First time at the 99 Ranch Market in Westwood today in the building that used to be a bookstore, then a Ross store. I love 99 Ranch Markets for my Asian foods, seafood and produce (with a lot of Asian vegetables and fruits you can't find at regular grocery stores) needs! It's not as big as some of the other 99 Ranch Market stores but there is plenty of free parking underground beneath the building. Was disappointed that it does not have a hot deli section or bakery on premise like other branches. I had hoped to get lunch there and eat it before I headed home (there's a food court upstairs on the second level with a small convenience store plus a food counter that was not open on a Saturday afternoon but had plenty of seating and tables). Huge sections with many brands of rice, shelf aisles of soy sauces, every flavor of Spam (I mention this for my friend who was having a hard time finding spicy Korean flavor Spam at regular stores) and spices in bulk packs. Smelled overwhelmingly bad inside the store with very strong seafood and ??? scent permeating, in spite of temperature controlled refrigeration and air conditioning. Guessing the air circulation gets bottled up with the way

Iβm so glad 99 Ranch Market opened in Westwood. Itβs the closest location to my place and has quickly become my go-to spot. This place is pretty clean and well organized. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the store has everything I need, whether Iβm picking up ingredients to make Asian food at home or just grabbing some of my favorite snacks. The prices are reasonable, and the whole shopping experience is super easy and convenient especially they have their own free parking garage on lower level. Highly recommend!
